Background
AS we are living in a temperate climate, and air and water temperatures vary a lot over a 12 month period. We typically get water temperatures up to 21 degrees in the summertime and down to as low as -2 degrees during the winter months.
Therefore, it makes good sense to wear a drysuit when diving in the colder montsh of the year (typically October to April/May). It makes it a lot easier to stay warm and therefore you will have more fun. It also makes diving in cold water a lot safer with a drysuit
What do we learn
During your dry suit specialty course, you will learn about different types of drysuits, undersuits and accessories and parts. You will learn how to dive in a drysuit to get comfortable with it, and the right techniques to stay safe. Also how to care for your drysuit before and after diving.
